Comments:
Waverly Brook Farm is a four season general century family farm has logging, maple syrup, gardens and beef. There was a CSA (Community Shard Ag) food box program since 1995 for 18 years. Bio-dynamic methods have continued to energize the farm land since 1994, with no certifications for organic nor BD. Due to health and family situations, we discontinued the food box program, but continue to participate in the farm community with our sustainable forestry practices, maple syrup and animals. Business opportunity for a person or family to set up a garden business with support from our family and farm. An agreement could be arranged for rental of land and apartment, 5 km from the village of Haliburton. We are looking for some one to enjoy the gardens for an interim time with the support of the existing systems for irrigation, tractor and tiller, hand equipment and knowledge of what it takes to facilitate a garden for farm markets (four with in 30 KM) or a CSA food box program. This could happen for a few years as our young adult children are in process of deciding their future participation on this farm. There is a two bed room "granny flat" apartment with our home available to rent. The first year would set a direction for several more years potential.
